One age group per night
Each event is planned for one grade level. Invitations help us know who is coming.

For the people behind them
Growing up should come with a few great nights out. We’re here to make room for them—with a clear plan for you.
How the evening works ↓Independence, thoughtfully planned.
Main Room is a quarterly social event for young people in West Los Angeles. We use invitations so we know who is coming, keep each night within an age group, and share clear details with families.

The details that matter
Each event is planned for one grade level. Invitations help us know who is coming.
Adult staff and security are present throughout the evening.
Main Room is a fully dry event. Our highest priority is the safety of our guests.
Parents receive the venue address, timing, and pickup plan well before the evening.
The bigger picture
We want to rethink what growing up in America can look like. We see three areas where young people deserve more support.
More places to spend time together, meet people, and find your own circle outside school.
More help learning the everyday skills that life asks of you, but that school often leaves out.
More chances to take part in your community and understand the responsibility we have to one another.
The event series is where we’re starting: giving young people more opportunities to be together. Stay tuned for what comes next in life skills and civic duty.
